SPREEPARK was an entertainment park in the north of the Plänterwald , formerly part of the GDR-controlled East Berlin and next to the river Spree.
The entertainment park was opened in 1969 as Kulturpark Plänterwalds and abandoned in 2002 because of depts.
Now is just left to rot among the trees and foliage of Plänterwald, its roller-coasters rusty and neglected, buildings boarded up, and fun-rides left for just the birds and rats to enjoy. It's fenced off from unwanted guests and big angry signs proclaim "Betreten verboten!
I think it's a beautiful and mysterious place that needs to be visited and photographed !! I hope to go there with my friends very soon !!!
